These beautiful shohin bonsai has been wonderfully created by Marc, and Rita Cooper. the first is of an elm tree with excellent ramification and lovely rough, corky bark. the other is a lovely juniper.Box. Trident maple. Firethorn, and a brilliant pine. the thing that catches my eye is that all the small bits of detail, is, absolutely perfect. They won the best shohin award at the noelanders bonsai competition. Again, i don't want to be accused of copyright, i got these images off bonsai eejit (a really nice website). Any comments on these amazing trees are appreciated. Thank you!!
This is a blog on which I post my bonsai experiences, info on trees and shrubs in general and trees I find interesting and inspiring.

graham potters privet
Hi guys, i know, I am very late, this privet won Graham W Potter a prize in the noelanders.
The way this little guy leans to one side but the fact that is does not lean too much nor to little is amazing, the angle of elegance is intriguing. Not to mention the lovely carving skills put into it, just the fact that the carving is not unnaturally smooth nor unnaturally stumpy and jutting is awesome. Now, just take time to look at this amazing tree. The ramification is dense but not to dense, everything, in my mind is expertly done. Now for the final bit, due to the fact that I do not want to be accused of copy right, I have the link were I got this picture from:
http://www.bonsaiempire.com/origin/bonsai-artists/europe/graham-potter
and, http://www.kaizenbonsai.com/blog/bonsai-gallery/twin-trunk-privet/
By all means, read these amazing websites, they are very informative.
Thank you!! any comments, fine!
